How do our programs work?

All of our programs are based on neuroscience and the latest research into learning.

Does Dyslexia Gold only help people with Dyslexia?

Dyslexia Gold helps most people who struggles with reading, regardless of whether they have a diagnosis of dyslexia or not.

Which Programs do I need?

If your child can read 'The boat with the queen needs to slow down' then they should play our Catch Up Intervention. If they can't, they should play our Early Intervention.

How can I tell if Engaging Eyes will help my child?

Engaging Eyes should help your child if they often: Skip words or lines, reverse letters, lose their place, see words move or look blurry, tire easily when reading, read slowly or get eyestrain from reading

How can I tell if Dyslexia Gold is helping my child?

When you first play Dyslexia Gold there is an optional reading age test.

How long does Dyslexia Gold take?

Each program takes 10-15 minutes a day.

Does Engaging Eyes also help with spelling?

Yes - in order to spell correctly you have to remember what a word looks like; you have to remember all the letters in the word.

What age range does Dyslexia Gold help?

Dyslexia Gold can be played by people of any age, and any educational level, aged 5 and above. The games have been designed to appeal across all age groups – including primary and secondary pupils.

Does Dyslexia Gold help with Visual Stress or Irlen Syndrome?

Yes, if you suffer from visual stress or Irlen syndrome you probably also have a convergence problem.

Why are 3D glasses required for the training?

The 3D glasses are needed to play the 3D games which help you learn to focus both eyes on the same point.

Where can I buy 3d glasses?

Once you’ve purchased Dyslexia Gold we’ll post a pair of red / cyan 3D glasses direct to your door, free of charge.

Is Engaging Eyes suitable for everyone?

Engaging Eyes is not suitable for people with strabismus.

What are the system requirements?

Engaging Eyes works on PCs, Chromebooks and Macs, but not on tablets or iPads. Fluency Builder, Spelling Tutor and Times Tables Tutor work on PCs, Macs, tablets and iPads.

Your membership will be renewed automatically. You may cancel anytime. No notice period is required. Programs are online, so you get instant access to them once you've paid. Once we have received your payment for Engaging Eyes we'll post a pair of red / cyan 3D glasses direct to your door, free of charge.

We accept payment by PayPal or Card for parents and payment by invoice for schools.

How Do I Cancel My Subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the program. If you subscribed via PayPal, you can cancel by logging into PayPal or you can email us and we'll cancel your subscription for you.

Who is Dyslexia Gold suitable for?

Dyslexia Gold is a suite of online catch-up interventions that are suitable for most pupils, including those who are significantly behind and those with special needs.

Engaging Eyes is suitable for children aged 6 – 14.

Reading Unlocked is suitable for children with a reading age less than 8.

Fluency Builder is suitable for children with a reading age of 8 to 10.

Comprehension Superstars is for children working at Y3-Y6 level.

Spelling Tutor and Times Table Tutor are suitable for all pupils.

The Dyslexia Screener is suitable for children aged 6-12.

Which programs should pupils play?

Most pupils play 2 programs to improve their reading – Engaging Eyes and either Reading Unlocked or Fluency Builder.

To improve spelling pupils should play Spelling Tutor.

Times Table Tutor is for pupils who wish to improve their recall of times tables.

Comprehension Superstars improves vocabulary and prepares pupils for KS2 SATS.

How many students can you add?

You have bought a whole school license, so you can add as many pupils from your school as you want.

How long are the sessions and how often should they be run?

Each program take 10-15 minutes and should be done 3-5 times a week.

Who can run the program and can it be done in groups?

Literacy Gold can be played independently or as a supervised group intervention.

Any adult can supervise, training is not required.

What training and support is available?

Online training and support is free for all schools.

What devices can Literacy Gold played on?

All of our programs can be used on PC, Laptops, Chromebooks and tablets except for Engaging Eyes which can only be played on PC, Laptops and Chromebooks.
