Most dyslexics struggle to read, or to read fluently, because of poor phonological awareness.
Fluency Builder is a phonological awareness intervention, that improves reading by an average of 2.5 months for every month played. It is especially suitable for children who are at least 12 months behind in reading.
Children's reading improved by an average of 7.5 months in 1 term
Research has shown that improving phonological awareness, improves reading.
Research shows that dyslexics use different pathways in their brain to read.

Fluency Builder contains auditory activities to improve phonological awareness.
This helps dyslexics hear the individual sounds in words, which enables them to make sense of phonics.
Fluency Builder's unique formula builds the skills needed to read fluently.
Evidence Based Intervention
The results showed that, on average, reading age improved by 2.5 months for every month played.
Teachers noticed that confidence and interest in reading also improved significantly.
Phonological awareness is hearing that goat contains 3 sounds: g-oa-t.
Specific activities to develop this skill, like sorting by sound and changing words improve phonological awareness.
Each lesson teaches a new sound or spelling.
The structured program teaches all phonemes and graphemes, and repeats them using spaced repetition
Fluency Builder uses non-fiction passages to appeal to all ages.
Each passage is read four times to improve fluency. Words can be clicked on to hear them spoken out loud.
